Personality:
Though a little young, Skyler is a very courageous and adaptable person who’s able to quickly adjust to new situations, as shown by how quickly and easily he adjusts to becoming a Pokemon. He’s not afraid to jump into the unknown, since he’s already mostly in it, and rarely backs down from a challenge. Smart, but not genius, he does have a bit of a knack for figuring some things out that others don’t…but this is usually tied to his intuition and personal feelings. As such, when he thinks too much on it or simple logic overrides his feeling he'll ignore that feeling, which is usually the mistake since his instincts on a serious situation are usually accurate.

Although he seems a bit on the morose side when lost in thought, which is pretty often, he’s really usually the opposite. While he's not really secretive, he doesn’t like to burden others with his thoughts and thus keeps quiet until he feels the time is right to reveal them...or realizes he forgot to mention something important. Once he’s made up his mind on something he has the resolution to see it through unless it turns out that it was the wrong thing. Despite this level of determination, he’s not immune to doubts, fears, or second-guessing himself and his choices.

He has a very dark past, and has been bullied more than once since becoming a Pokemon, but he hasn’t become jaded…instead showing a kind and honest nature that is rarely found in the world he was born into. He trusts his instincts, which are fairly accurate, in serious situations and doesn’t openly mistrust others without good reason.

His trusting and open nature makes him seem a lot younger and more naive than he really is, but his constant cheerfulness generally makes it easy for him to get along with others.

Skyler has a lot of compassion for others, as well as a strong sense of right and wrong. This makes him hesitating to help others a rare occurrence, as he tends to want to rush to their aid if he knows they're in trouble.

One of his semi-odd habits is to lie awake to think on how things are going for him or on the things he's either learned, or doesn't know, about himself. But he's also pretty easily able to set the thoughts aside when he needs to sleep.
